St. Matthew's Academy
Saint Matthew's Academy is the setting of School Ties. It is an all boys school, presumably from grades 6 to 12. Their rival is St. Luke's. St. Matt's is located in Cabot, Massachusetts. In real life, the filming was done at Middlesex School, Groton School, Worcester Academy, Lawrence Academy at Groton and St. Mark's School. The main students of School Ties all attend St. Matt's and at the beginning of the movie they are all in their senior year.
